Valentine is a 2001 slasher film about a group of women who are stalked by a killer wearing a Cupid mask on Valentine’s Day. The killer is revealed to be Jeremy Melton, a former classmate who was humiliated and falsely accused of assault by the women when they were in junior high school. The main characters are:

Kate Davies (Marley Shelton): A newspaper reporter and the only one who was kind to Jeremy. She is the final girl and the love interest of Adam Carr, who is actually Jeremy in disguise.

Paige Prescott (Denise Richards): A sex columnist and the most promiscuous of the group. She is killed by Jeremy in a hot tub with a drill.

Dorothy Wheeler (Jessica Capshaw): A wealthy heiress and the one who lied about Jeremy assaulting her. She is killed by Jeremy with an axe after he reveals his identity to her.

Lily Voight (Jessica Cauffiel): A cheerful artist and the naivest of the group. She is killed by Jeremy with a bow and arrow at a Valentine’s party.

Shelley Fisher (Katherine Heigl): A medical student and the first victim of Jeremy. She is killed by Jeremy with a scalpel at the morgue.

Adam Carr (David Boreanaz): Kate’s boyfriend and a recovering alcoholic.
