101% sure this is the best "binaural audio" video I've ever done so far. I should have uploaded it last Thursday but some editing problems forced me to delay the upload. Anyway make sure to put your headphones on, turn up the volume as much as you can and enjoy this 17 minutes video taken during the second day of the 2017 FIA WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) official pre-season tests at Monza Circuit!!

--What's "new"/improved in this video?

First of all as many of you have asked 95% of the scenes in the video are static so you can appreciate the binaural effect even more. Instead of recording the video with my Go Pro I preferred to use my Canon camcorder so I could make both some zoomed and panoramic scenes.
Another thing I've tried to improved is the annoying background noise/swish that was more or less considerable based on what kind of headphones you're using. Removing the background noise can lead to create a bubble or empty room effect where all the other sounds seem to be echoing too much and the object seem too far from the listener (you can hear this bad effect at 9:02 when I start rubbing the plastic wrap of a candy, but that's the only place where you can find it).
Still talking about that thing I wanted to add at 9:02 it's a funny way to properly hear the binaural effect: you can actually hear the sound of that plastic wrap being rubbed from your left to your right ear!

-- The problem I found while editing

I'm really sorry for those horrible short transitions on the audio that make you understand that there's been a scene change. My first aim was to used very long transitions (4-5 seconds long) between the audio files so you can enjoy the video even without watching it seem like a single audio file. I managed to do it but after the export the audio was everywhere distorted and automatically lowered down after a very loud noise (for example at 1:39, when the Citroen passed by the audio was too distorted and a moment after it turned too low that you can't even hear the Cruze flying by a few seconds after). Everything was perfect on my Adobe Premiere timeline. I probabily exported this video 20 times and at the end I found the problem were the long transitions. I even tried to export it on two different computers (with different parts and performances among them) but the result was the same. Such as the editing program was still the same Premiere CC version.
I really hope that someone may help me to find a solution for this issue because if it was possible the next binaural video would reach that almost perfection I've been looking for in the last months..

-- What the hell is a 3D/Binaural recording? --
Binaural recordings are reproductions of sound the way human ears hear it. Traditionally, recordings have been made using mono or stereo. Mono uses a single microphone while stereo uses two, spaced apart from each other. Binaural recording takes the stereo method one step further by placing two microphones approximately at the same average distance that exists between one and the other human ear.
To recreate the best effect you must put the microphones in your ears or by using a "dummy head" (wherein a mannequin head is outfitted with a microphone in each ear) because having a real head or a head shape that separates the two microphones is what makes the magic works. In fact if a car passes on your left side the sound will take a few extra microseconds to reach the right ear and it will also be louder in one ear (left) than the other. This is caused by the fact we have a thick skull and spongy brain between the two ears and sound waves interact with the physical constitution of the listener and the surrounding space.
