Hawaiian Airlines Extra Comfort Seat Economy Upgrade for $190

Описание к видео Hawaiian Airlines Extra Comfort Seat Economy Upgrade for $190

Hawaiian Airlines premium economy seats are called Extra Comfort. Are they worth the $190 up charge for one way? I would say yes, considering it was an 11 hour plus flight time (the longest USA’s nonstop flight). I was flying BOS to HNL - Boston to Honolulu Non Stop Direct flight - for a business trip.

Hawaiian Airbus A330 seating configuration was 2x4x2 for both economy classes and a 2x2x2 for first class.

There are 18 First class seats, 260 Economy seats split between Economy Plus (Extra Comfort) and standard Economy. The Hawaiian airlines seating chart came from their website (hawaiianairlines.com).

For the First class there is 1 Bathroom and Economy had 6.

The flight had 3 officers on the flight deck and 9 flight attendants.

I was sitting in Row 17 seat J - Extra Comfort - And when I arrived to my seat they it had a blanket wrapped in plastic. I notice that every seat in both economy classes had them.

Extra Comfort Plus Amenities out of Boston -
Extra Space, 5 inches. Which alone was worth the $190 one way.
Early Boarding. We got zone 3.
Closer to the front.

17 J - There is only one awkward window in 17 J, I noticed that 17 A also only had one awkward window. I recommend skipping this row. Both fold down tables were at a slant and it was hard to keep things upright, but it was manageable.

Overall it was great flight considering the distance. The Hawaiian flight crew was friendly which was a breath of fresh air from other flights I have recently been on.
