Esther Kibbe, Cornell University WNY Berry Specialist, did an in-service presentation on strawberry pest and disease management for Genesee County Master Gardeners on Feb. 24, 2021. Esther covers the insects and diseases that gardeners in WNY are likely to see in thier strawberry plantings.

This program contains pesticide recommendations. Pesticides approved for use can vary state to state. Many of the pesticides mentioned may only be available to certified applicators. Homeowners should check with their local Extension office for control recommendations.
