Ribadavia is a beautiful town 30 minutes from the city of Ourense, it has one of the biggest and best medieval quarters in the region. The town was even declared a Historical Artistic Site in 1947.
In this town, you'll find the ruins of Sarmiento's castle. And what makes Ribadavia interesting, apart from the old quarter or casco Vello, is the Jewish quarter! It's definitely a town that you must visit if you are coming to Galicia.
