I like noise. Sonically, visually, even though in many cases it’s something to avoid, there’s something I love about it. Which is a good thing, because from the low light video to the chorus of cicadas, this performance has got a lot of it. I always thought of this song as a sunset hymnal, and we got to manifest that feeling, and share it with our bovine friends Emmaline and Josephine curiously watching in the field behind us. Who’s counting the fireflies?
