New Audi Q4 e-tron in-depth Walkaround

Audi has set its sights high in the luxury electric-vehicle market, expanding its EV-centric e-tron lineup with the addition of the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback SUVs. These new vehicles are smaller than the mid-size e-tron SUV, and their size is more comparable to the compact Q5 crossover.

The Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback have a battery capacity of 82 kWh, and they are designed to be powered solely by electricity. The vehicle's fast-charge port is of the SAE Combo type. The base engine type is electric, and it delivers 295 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque.

These SUVs are equipped with all-wheel drive and use a 1-speed direct drive transmission. They come with a four-wheel independent suspension, as well as front and rear stabilizer bars. The Q4 siblings measure 180.7 inches in length, 83.0 inches in overall width with mirrors, and 73.4 inches in overall width without mirrors. They have a height of 64.7 inches and a wheelbase of 108.7 inches.

The cargo capacity of the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback is 24.8 cu. ft. with all seats in place and 53.1 cu.ft. at maximum capacity. The vehicles can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and have a turning circle of 37.7 ft. The curb weight of the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback is 4,861 lbs., and their maximum payload capacity is 937 lbs. The gross weight of these vehicles is 6,041 lbs.
