Hi from beautiful Burggarten in Vienna! The Burggarten is a public park on Vienna's Ringstrasse and this is one of my, if not my, favorite park in downtown Vienna. I like the arrangement of the park very much, as well as that beautiful old buildings. The park tells a story. At that time this was the Emperor's private garden. Like the Volksgarten, the complex was planned by Ludwig Gabriel von Remy and court gardener Franz Antoine the Elder, but with the personal involvement of Emperor Franz, who was a trained gardener himself.
The park offers, among others, the following sights:

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Denkmal (Monument)

Franz Joseph Denkmal (Monument)

Franz Stephan Denkmal (Monument)

Herkulesbrunnen (Hercules Fountain)

Palmenhaus (Palm house)

How to get to the Burggarten
Tram/bus: Tram lines 1, 2, D or 71 to Burgring or bus: 2A to Albertinaplatz
