Fullerton Railfanning 12/20/14 Part 1!!!

On Saturday December 20, 2014, I decided to take a day off of work to go railfan at Fullerton Station in hopes of being at the Fullerton Foamers X-Mas Party. Not only did I get to see the party, I also had a great time out at the station seeing a lot of great surprises along the way. Information about each video to follow:

#1: My first surprise of the day was this over five hour late Westbound Amtrak Southwest Chief 3 making it's station stop at Fullerton.

#2: Northbound Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 769 departs Fullerton, as it makes it's way up towards Union Station at Los Angeles.

#3: My first BNSF freight of the day was Awesome to say the least. First, it was the loaded Westbound Ethanol train, second it had a Heritage 1 BNSF locomotive in the consist, and third, it had a great crew on board as well.

#4: Now arriving over an hour late to Fullerton is this Southbound Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 572 on track three.

#5: Our first Eastbound freight is this BNSF Intermodal as it makes it's way from track three to two with a great crew.

#6: Another one of those not seen everyday freights on the San Bernardino Subdivision is this Westbound BNSF Z-Train/Piggyback freight heading towards Los Angeles with another great crew in tow.

#7: The next BNSF Intermodal to come Westbound through Fullerton on track two has a CITIRAIL leaser engine in the consist.

#8: Next coming Westbound is this BNSF Doublestack which ends with empty well cars in tow on track two.

#9: Back over on the track three side, we see this Eastbound BNSF Doublestack transfer over to track two as it makes it's way towards San Bernardino.

#10: As BNSF 7715 drops some stacks off, our first Metrolink makes it's station stop as Southbound SCAX 664 makes it's station stop.

#11: Now making it's station stop and departing east towards Riverside is Metrolink 752. It also gives a horn salute to some of the Fullerton Foamers as they work behind me setting up cage 2 for the Christmas Party.

#12: Now transferring onto track three from two is this Westbound BNSF Doublestack with a friendly crew on board.

#13: As this Westbound BNSF Doublestack makes it's way towards Los Angeles with a Dash 9 leader, you will hear Southbound Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 582 get the highball to proceed South towards San Diego. The Surfliner had a engine on each end of the train.

#14: Finally some more quality makes it's way East towards Fullerton as the BNSF M-WATBAR20 greets the Fullerton Foamers as the clap their hands to the moving train, and shout out "Quality as Advertised" as the train heads towards Barstow.

#15: With a wave from the conductor, this Eastbound BNSF Intermodal comes through Fullerton racing the twilight.
