Crystal Gayle has always been one of my biggest musical inspirations - not only is she one of my favourite singers, she was also the one who inspired me to grow my hair long! I love the meaningful lyrics and positive message in this song: it was originally written by Don Williams, but Crystal Gayle's wonderful version from her 1980 album 'These Days' was the one I grew up listening to, so we thought this was a perfect song for us to record.
