September 8 is also the feast of Saint Adrian of Nicomedia, a soldier in the Roman army who became a Christian and gave his life for Jesus. ⚔️✝️

At first, Adrian was not a believer. But when he saw the courage of the Christians being persecuted, he asked them what gave them such strength. Their faith in Jesus touched his heart, and he chose to follow Christ too.

Because of this, Adrian was arrested and martyred. His wife, Saint Natalia, encouraged him to stay strong in his faith until the end.
