Meeting Bajrang & his Family in Tala Zona, Bandhavgarh
What happens when you meet the King of Bandhavgarh, and then, hours later, his entire family? Welcome back to My Jungle Junction, where in this thrilling second vlog from Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, we take you deeper into the heart of the legendary Tala Zone—tracking not just the mighty Bajrang, but also meeting his adorable cubs and the elusive Chorbehra tigress in a safari that blends power, playfulness, and pure jungle magic.
THE KING OF BANDHAVGARH — BAJRANG
If Chota Matka is the king of Tadoba and the ultimate family man, then Bajrang is his Bandhavgarh counterpart — majestic, bold, and a symbol of strength and fatherhood. In the first half of this vlog, we relive that surreal morning safari, where Amit from My Jungle Junction witnessed Bajrang walking with unmatched dominance through the dense forests of Tala.
His aura? Undeniable.
His walk? Commanding.
His presence? Game-changing.
This is what makes Bajrang not just a tiger, but a true jungle monarch.
A WILD FAMILY PORTRAIT — CUBS + THE CHORBEHRA TIGRESS
The second half takes us back into Tala for an afternoon safari, with the information that Bajrang’s cubs were spotted nearby. And what followed was pure magic: Three playful cubs, rolling around in the grass, tumbling into water, napping in the afternoon heat. Their shy and stunning mother, the Chorbehra tigress, slowly emerges, checking on her little ones.
And eventually, the entire family, together — Bajrang, Chorbehra, and the cubs, a rare and unforgettable jungle moment.
We couldn’t help but compare Bajrang to Tadoba’s Chota Matka once again — both proud fathers, both dominant rulers, both leaving behind a wild legacy in their respective homes.
TALA ZONE — WHERE HISTORY MEETS THE WILD
Tala is not just a zone. It's Bandhavgarh’s beating heart.
With over 2000 years of history, the Bandhavgarh Fort, Shesh Shaiya monument, and ancient jungle caves, this zone is where mythology and wildlife coexist. Every safari here is a walk through time and wilderness.
