Continuing with Taki's Special Weapon Run on Soul Edge and to finish the Special Weapon Runs, i will be using her Great Overall Healing Weapon the Gaea Sword. The run will also be completed on the Ultra Hard difficulty with No Continues. Lets take a look below at Taki'sGaea Sword stats in numbers:

Power: 119.9%
Defense: 116.1%
Strength: 100.0%
Durability: 112.5%
Weight: 5 Bars/0.98 Speed
Range: 1.31
Pierce Damage: 0%
Pierce Weakness: 0%
Special Effects: 4% Health Recovery per second.
The Gaea Sword is an interesting weapon as Sophitia also has this same exact weapon other then fact that Taki only uses the actual sword but not the Shield. Because of that the stats for both characters in the same weapon are actually the same but while for Sophitia it was a very good weapon, for Taki its actually her best overall non Ultimate Weapon and thats because the only difference the Gaea Sword has under Taki's is that it has a 1.31 Range as the weapon is considerable longer when compared to her Standard weapon while for Sophitia had no difference at all. For the Weapon analysis by itself its a very balanced Healing as both the Power and Defense are on very similar great values to have while also having 112.5% Durability making harder to break. The only minor downside of the Gaea Sword is its Speed at 0.98 and while with Sophitia you would barely see a difference, its somewhat noticiable with Taki do to her moves being very fast overall. Despite that the Gaea Sword in the hands of Taki are way more effective in comparison to Sophitia's as she really needs the added Range it provides while the superior speed of Taki allows her to exploit its Healing effect better.
Despite my explaination above, Sophitia against the CPU can actually win the entire Arcade run without losses but Taki misses this mark and can lose a few rounds... why? Despite Taki being the obvious better character when it comes to competitive matches, for the CPU it means nothing as Taki doesnt have anything in her moveset that the CPU has trouble dealing besides her Forward A,B,B,B to disarm the opponent. Her mixups doesnt work against the CPU, frame trapping doesnt work at all and while the Gaea Sword has a nice added Range to it, all of her moves that actually have effective range are balanced around being very unsafe on Block and even worse on whiff so in the end Taki misses the consistency of the Weapon because of her own toolkit against the CPU.
This run concludes my Soul Edge Special Weapon Runs where i did go for their best Non Ultimate Weapons. Starting next week thanks to a few comments on my runs, i will actually be doing the opposite and do runs for each character but with their worst special weapons instead as you will see just how absolutely awful certain weapons can be.
