Ok so this is an old game and I have no doubt there are plenty of decent guides out there.

All I wanted to do was to provide a snappy alternative.

All you need is the bone spear rune which you unlock pretty early on. It’s the second rune and is described as firing “teeth”. This widens your arc of fire and allows you to hit more enemies at once.

Then all you need is a large group of enemies like the one shown in this video. Make sure your Essence is full or almost full. Then fire out as many bursts as you can varying the direction slightly so you can hit as many enemies as possible.

I hope this can be of some use to some of you. There a quite a few opportune encounters with large groups of enemies. So it is not essential to get this at the same place as I did.
