Over the course of a few days, we cleared the land, built wind breaks using deadfall and old cuttings, Started building our driveway and carefully restored a section of the original lava rock stone wall.

This wall has been part of the land for generations, and rebuilding it was about more than function—it was about respecting the history of the place while preparing it for the future. Every step brings us closer to creating a sustainable, self-sufficient homestead.
