Winter wild camp backpack weight - what I take and why is my camping gear so heavy?

My winter wild camping kit seems REALLY heavy, even though I've got lots of good lightweight gear. Why is that? I decided to weigh all of my equipment to find out, and then had a think about how I could lighten the load.
