The Stacey Pedro is the surfboard you'll never leave home without whether heading to your local beachy or jetting off to some mythical right point in the Indian Ocean.

Generously proportioned hybridized shortboard or modern 'mid-length' (in the larger sizes), it really doesn't matter how you label it, the Pedro looks fun...serious fun.

The Pedro really is difficult to pigeonhole but this is why it's so versatile and could easily find a home in pretty much any surfers quiver (depending on how you size it).

The outline is curvy with a generously proportioned rounded pintail and a full nose. The rocker is very relaxed and the rails are soft and forgiving. Plenty of foam throughout the board leads to some user friendly dims with the 6'0 boasting 37.76 litres volume!

Lee Stacey's Pedro has been designed to paddle fast, catch waves early and make the very best of poor conditions with its plentiful volume and forgiving shape.

If like me you're getting a little long-in-the-tooth and need a little assistance in the paddle area, the Pedro will do this brilliantly and will still perform in anything from thigh high to pretty decent waves around head high and a bit. Competent surfers looking for a performance hybrid will love the Pedro in the smaller sizes particularly if they weren't keen on going down the full 'groveller' route. If you're just progressing from a Funboard or mini mal and are looking to progress to something shorter the Pedro ticks all the boxes with its float, stability and forgiving nature.

Lee Stacey first dabbled in surfboard shaping at a very early age and spent his late teens and early twenty's moving around Australia's East Coast, putting in a shift at Pacific Dreams in Newcastle and then learning how to hand shape under the watchful eye of Darly Bulger factory manager at New Factory on the Gold Coast. The next 3 years Lee spent working for himself and other manufacturers in South Australia. A chance meeting while taking a holiday back on the Gold Coast, led to Lee landing a position shaping with legendary shapers Murray Bourton and Rod Dahlburg. He then moved on, spending valuable time at JS Industries and Chilli Surfboards before realizing that it was high-time he set about fulfilling his childhood dream of starting his own surfboard brand. In 2009 Stacey Surfboards was officially launched.

Pukas X Stacey surfboards is a match made in heaven; a collaboration set to deliver some really interesting surfboard models, all beautifully constructed and hand finished at Pukas's facility in the Basque region of Spain.
