🌏 We’re celebrating #worldoceansday today to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and the marine life.

🌊 Oceans cover 70% of the planet’s surface but they, and the hundreds of thousands of species which call them home, are unfortunately at increased risk due to marine debris, overfishing, bycatch, and climate change impacts such as warming sea temperatures and coral bleaching.

🫶 Through the @seaworldfoundation we conduct vital research, rescue, and conservation efforts to help the marine ecosystem and work towards protecting and preserving the oceans for future generations.

🤿 Guests at #seaworldaus can also dive below the surface and learn more about the precious ocean ecosystem and how they can do their part to help at Shark Bay with the habitat showcasing two incredible oceanic zones –pelagic and tropical reef environments.

♻️ There are also simple things you can do to help protect oceans and marine wildlife by only consuming sustainable seafood products, respecting the marine environments by going slow for those below and fishing responsibly and by reducing waste by reusing, recycling, refusing and composting food scraps.
