This mode SUCKED, until I used the right strategy. With the regular Minus 7 cycle, this mode is super luck based and just sucks lol, but with the Mask Storage Strat (made by the goat Regi), this is free. I am 100% serious when I say that Worst Luck Minus 7, is easier than Regular Minus 7.

How is Worst Luck luck based though? It's because of something called "Mask Storage". Full BB attacks (an attack without an early leave) last between 4.017 – 5.000s, because Mask Time can be "stored" up to 59 frames. You cannot track Stored Mask Time with the regular Minus 7 strat, meaning it is completely unpredictable how long BB's attack is going to last. Furthermore, a 5.0s BB attack is almost impossible to survive, unless you use a 2nd timer to predict when BB is going to leave.

This is where the "Mask Storage Strat" comes in. In this strat, we use a cycle in order to track Stored Mask Time, and ensure we always have at least 0.5s of stored mask time before every BB attack. We also avoid Golden Freddy, because having to use the mask on him would make it too difficult to track Stored Mask Time.

I will write down a short explanation of the Mask Storage Strat here.


Start of the Night:
Put on the mask for around ~0.6s. Then open the cams and start winding. Close the cams before 0:05, and open them after to start the main cycle.

Main Cycle:
Flash the 3 cams. Wind. Close the cams and flash the hallway at :X4 or :X9. Open the cams after the 5s interval. Repeat.

1st Vent Banging Sound Cue:
Continue as usual.

2nd Vent Banging Sound Cue:
After opening the cams and hearing the sound cue, quickly flash the 3 cams and put on the mask, making sure the flash the hallway whilst putting on the mask. Flashing at :X1 or :X6 is 100% safe. React to BB's leaving sound cue, and take off the mask and flash the cams quickly. Wind over the 5s interval, close the cams at 5.5, put on the mask for Golden Freddy (for only 0.1 – 0.2s), flash the hall at :X1 or :X6, open the cams, and flash the 3 cams. Then wind and drop the cams before the 5s interval (no need to flash since we flashed at :X1 or :X6), where we will restart the main cycle.

Repeat this for the whole night and you will do amazing.


Why does the Mask Storage Strat work?
The audible sound for BB leaving starts 0.1 – 0.2s after BB has left the vent, and this plus the time it takes to react (0.2 – 0.3s), means that you will have around 0.4s of stored mask time. We put on the mask an extra time for Golden Freddy, which should take us up to 0.5 – 0.6s of stored mask time, which is what we want. We don't want to go for more (more than 0.7s), because if we go over 1.0s, then it'll reset and we'll have very little stored mask time.


This is by FAR the best strat for Worst Luck Minus 7. This strat allows you to go pretty slow during the attacks, letting you focus on accuracy when hitting the cam buttons. It also makes every attack super predictable.
