Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, working with Hellgeth Engineering, has developed a luxury-oriented interpretation of the Unimog that blends high-end interior execution with the platform’s core off-road capability.

The cabin is configured with leather seating for four, LED interior lighting, and a camera-based visibility system that replaces traditional exterior mirrors. Despite the upscale treatment, the vehicle retains the Unimog’s functional, utilitarian layout.

Power comes from a tuned 7.7-liter OM 936 diesel inline-six, producing approximately 300 horsepower and 1,033 lb-ft of torque. Mechanical fundamentals remain unchanged, including low-range crawling gears, portal axles, and beadlock wheels, preserving extreme off-road performance.

This build is presented as a demonstration of customization potential, rather than signaling a new production direction for the Unimog lineup.
