The Little Prince - A Richard Allen Macksey Memoriam

While scouting for locations to shoot my movie Bastion, I stumbled across an incredible, home-grown library created by Richard Macksey. We called him and up and asked if we could shoot a few scenes in his house. He welcomed us in without much hesitation and my crew and I were able to capture some magnificent images of his collection. I had never met him previous to this encounter, nor was I ever a student of his, but he left me with a lasting impression that captivated my soul. He reminded me of my grandfather, so we stayed in touch until he passed. For anyone that knew him, or knew of him, enjoy this once majestic library he created. This chamber of knowledge no longer exists, and Richard is no longer with us.
