About the program: The session presents a complete syllabus designed for professional communication contexts, with a focus on thematic sequencing, and assessment practices. Participants examine practical classroom strategies that would help their students to move beyond cultural stereotypes and instead foster awareness, adaptability, and ethical
communication. The session aims to support teachers who wish to design, teach, and assess cross-cultural communication in a systematic and meaningful way. This workshop introduces teachers to a structured, classroom-tested approach to developing cross-cultural communication
among students who interact with peers, colleagues, and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Teachers can equip students with the awareness, adaptability, and communication skills required to work confidently and ethically with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
in real professional contexts.

Outcomes: After attending this program, participants shall be able to
1. design a syllabus for teaching cross-cultural communication in professional contexts
2. implement classroom strategies that develop intercultural awareness and adaptability
3. design assessments that evaluate cross-cultural communication skills systematically
