CORRECTION: Most (if not all) Astrophytum are self-sterile! I didn't know this until a commenter kindly pointed this out and several other growers said the same. So you'll need two Astrophytum to successfully pollinate the flowers. More proof to always take what I say with a grain of salt :)

The contrast of the delicate flowers to the hardy Astrophytum cactus body gets me every time. I also show how I hand pollinate the flowers - totally not sure about my technique and how effective it is lol. Plus, there's a little Cookie bonus at the end :)
