LS. Railway lorry bringing slag for track laying. VS. Slag being unloaded from railway wagons. CU. Man at control of crane engaged in the unloading. VS. Mechanical shovel loading up trucks with slag. VS. Trucks carry slag to another area and tip the slag off.



VS. Bulldozers smooth the slag down for the tracks to be set in position on. VS. Rail gang laying sleepers and the rails are fitted into shoes on the sleepers. GV. Down the tracks. MS. Four men stand by the tracks looking at plans.
