DB Cargo trio of two Class 90 electric locomotives, 90029 in ex-Grand Central and 90039 in "I am the Backbone of the Economy" with a former EWS liveried Class 66 024 in tow on their way down from Carlisle to Crewe IEMD via Crewe station.

Bumblebee2 (90029) and Backbone (90039) had been part of six DB90s, also joined by Multimodal (90019), Jack (90036) as well as Christine (90037) and 90020 (Bumblebee3).

Bumblebee2 and Backbone started the week off on 4M30 and 4S47, which, as I understand, starts off with a Class 66 moving the load to Mossend where the 90s take over. The following services were Multimodal (90019) and Jack (90036) and then Christine (90037) and Bumblebee3 (90020) .. peculiarly, all three pairs had one turn of the shift before being given a breather.

Before Christmas, with Bumblebee 1, 2 and 3 (90's 026, 029 and 020 respectively) being readied for possible Grand central workings and then after regular runs down to Wembley where the Mk4 carriage stock and DVTs were being held.

The Malcolm workings were being undertaken by regular weekly pairings with Malcolm (90024), Bill (90028), DB Blue (90034), Jack (90036) and Christine (90037) all get runs on 4M25 & 4S47.

As of 12th April, Multimodal (90019) is up at Mossend on his own, with class mates Bumblebee (90026) and Jack (90036) at Warrington Arpley with the 90s not featuring last week, hopefully they will be back on duty delivering greener Cleaner logistics services for Malcolm Rail into late Spring 2021.
