Since WWE is a live show, things go awry all the time, and that’s exactly what makes this experience unique and interesting. Today, we’re going to go over some of the most embarrassing entrance fails in wrestling.

these WWE stars FAILED miserably...

Wrong Tron - Not all entrance fails happen because of a wrestler- sometimes the production crew is at fault. For instance, on an episode of SmackDown in 2023, when Bianca BeLair was making her entrance to the ring, they accidentally played Rhea Ripley’s titantron visuals instead. The weird thing about this is the fact that Ripley is actually not even a part of SmackDown’s roster. Rhea had a field day with this and tweeted: “Even the production team are thinking about Mami”

Wardrobe Malfunction - Listen, we know this is not necessarily a disastrous botch, but it’s something that probably triggers OCD in a lot of people. During the 2016 Hell In A Cell, Charlotte Flair had a spectacular entrance that was only fit for a queen. Yet, there was one moment that gave us the ultimate ick- and that’s when her sleeve got stuck to her robe and just stayed there for a bit. It still haunts me in my nightmares!

Broken Stick - Before Jade Cargill became a part of WWE’s roster, she was in AEW, and at the AEW Full Gear event, when Cargill wore an outfit inspired by the Thundercats’ Cheetara, her stick, using which she was planning to do a whole performance with, broke while she was on the elevator. Despite this, she made sure to not break her character. This just goes to show how you have to be prepared to make the best out of bad situations on the fly.

Surprise Ruined - At the 2023 Royal Rumble, it was the first time Nia Jax made an appearance after being released by WWE. Unfortunately, the moment was ruined due to the fact that the production crew played her theme song before the countdown was over. While this seemed like an honest mistake at first, Jax’s comment when asked about the botch stated otherwise: “I know, but I can’t say. But let’s just say somebody was super excited for me to be back and prematurely hit my music”.

Title Card Mishap - Let’s go back in time a little. At Wrestlemania 10 in 1994, Alundra Blaze was set to partake in a women’s championship match. Although, according to the WWE’s production crew of the 90s, it was not Alundra we were looking at, but Owen Hart! That’s right, the title card mistakenly and confidently stated a full male wrestler’s name during Alundra’s entrance.

Announcer in Trouble - On a 2006 episode of Raw, it seems like the wrestler Charlie Haas was way too eager to enter the squared circle, and so he accidentally hit the announcer Lillian Garcia, while she was on the apron, leaving the ring. The impact was strong enough for her to hit the floor, and unfortunately break her wrist. Just goes to show that entrance botches can sometimes be more harmful than the in-ring ones.
