On Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 July, the Global Launch of the Global Education Monitoring Report (GEM Report) 2023 on Technology and Education will take place in a hybrid format. This event organised by the UNESCO GEM Report, the Ceibal Foundation and the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay, and declared of interest by the Ministry of Tourism of Uruguay, will bring together ministers, experts, academics, representatives of civil organisations and the private sector from Latin America and the Caribbean and the rest of the world, to reflect on the main findings and recommendations of the GEM Report 2023.
It will be the first time in the history of the GEM Report that the global launch, a key milestone in the global education calendar, will take place in a Spanish-speaking country.
