A bit of a hit and miss this was for me. It's minigames were great like the good old days, and there was huge variety in them. However, the new board game system is incredibly boring and takes a lot of the fun out of Mario Party, though I do admit that I appreciate the attempt to innovate a repetitive series. Music in the game ranges from great tunes, as well as straight up bland and boring ones
