This is a backing track for Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad by Derek And The Dominos. The arrangement is pretty much identical to the live version Eric performed in Japan during his tour in 2009... basically longer bits to solo in compared to the record and an extended outro that fades gradually to test your dynamics.

For some of the newer guys to the guitar there are two parts to this song. A verse part and a chorus part. The verse part is in A minor and the chorus part is in A major so flipping between the two might be a bit of a test if you don't do that much. The verse chords are Am - G - Am -G - F - C - E7 x2 while the chorus chords are Amaj7 - Dmaj7 x4. If you're stuck find a live version online and that'll help you out. :)

For those who want to know the technical bits and pieces it was recorded in Cubase via a Steinberg UR242. The guitars were done with a 2007 Fender American Standard 60th Anniversary Stratocaster (the one in the picture) through a Fender EC Vibrochamp direct to the interface via a Palmer PDI03JB. The bass is a Fender Mexican bass di'd straight to the interface while the drums were programmed through Groove agent.

Hope you enjoy it. :)
