Correct lubration is an integral part of any watch service. JK shows how to prepare oil cups after cleaning and what lubrication products he uses in which scenarios.

No narrating, just the sound of tools.

• Cleanliness has top priority
• Keep oil cup lids closed when not in use
• Change out lubricants regularly, ideally weekly
• Check the expiration date of lubricants, it'll effect performance
• Use the technical guide of a movement whenever possible
• Without technical guide:
• High speed, low torque: low viscose oil
• Low speed, high torque: high viscose oil
• Metal on metal interaction: grease
• DO NOT LUBRICATE THE PALLET FORK PIVOTS, EVER!
