2016 Jeep Patriot 2.0 Misfire 3&4 Cylinder

Описание к видео 2016 Jeep Patriot 2.0 Misfire 3&4 Cylinder

This is a down and dirty video. It's about information not video quality. After we put the piston clean in and let it set for 24 Hours. We cranked the engine on and off to blow out the Piston Clean out of the cylinders.Blobs of carbon came out on the rag. We ran the engine in the driveway for about 30 minutes. It ran rough and set the engine light. After it warmed up it smoothed out. We change the oil and filter. The oil was black from the dissolved carbon. The oil only had 1000 miles on it. The Jeep is running very good. When we do a oil change we will run another compression test. But we are on the right track. The term for this problem is Ring Coking. New engines use thin compression rings and it does not take much carbon for them to sick in the ring grooves. PCV systems have caused a lot of problems since they came into play early 60's I think. I have run catch cans on my vehicular since the 70's. Used to make them as they were not made after market. The black deposits in your throttle body is caused by this. Also carbon on the backs of the valves is caused by this. Hope this helps.
