This video will give you some insight as to just how easy, or hard, it is to pour a concrete slab.
This concrete slab is for a garage and took 24 cubic yards to pour.
The edges were 18" thick and the middle was 6" thick. It had wire mesh and rebar for reinforcement. The finish was smooth power troweled, not in the video. We sawed contraction joints afterward to help control shrinkage cracking.
