We the students of Animal Husbandry, Bangladesh Agricultural University went to visit the Large Duck Farms that have been grown up in the Haor area of Nikli Kishoregonj. The main trick to make that much profit at Duck farming in Nikli Haor, Kishoregonj is they do not use any Additional Feed to rear the Ducks there, The main feed they use for rearing ducks there is the Leftovers of Oyster Shells during the Flood Season in the Haor area. Based on the oyster shells they have grown up some Large Duck Farms which are very much profitable as we know in Animal Husbandry feed cost bears upto 80% cost of the total cost in a Farming System. They also provide some conventional feed items to their ducks.

There are also some drawbacks to Duck Farming at Nikli Haor, Kishoregonj.
