A biome approach to plot-based vegetation classification in northern Australia |

Dr Donna Lewis presented “A biome approach to plot-based vegetation classification in northern Australia” as part of the RIEL Seminar Series on 10 May 2024 in Darwin, Australia.

Donna is Curation Lead with the Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network (TERN) Ecosystem Surveillance Program. She is also an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow with the Research Institute for the Environment and Livelihoods at Charles Darwin University.

This seminar presents a floristic plot-based classification of the Australian tropical savanna biome using a composite of vegetation plot-based data sourced from the Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia governments, TERN, and non-government organisations.
