Trekking-hike Coburger Hütte in the Mieminger Mountains near Ehrwald next to the Zugspitze

Our 2-day trekking hike begins at the valley station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn. My hike leads over the Hohen Gang and the Seebensee to the Coburger Hütte. My hiking colleagues chose the route of the Seebener Wasserfall via ferrata from the valley station to the Seebensee instead of the Hohen Gang. From the Coburger Hütte we go to the hut summit of the Vorderer Drachenkopf in the afternoon, which offers a great view of the nearby Mieminger Mountains, but also of the Wetterstein Mountains opposite with the Zugspitze.
While my colleagues start again on a via ferrata on the second day (Tajakante via ferrata), I hike towards the Hinteres Tajatörl, taking the extra route just before this for the summit option of the Hinterer Tajakopf. There I meet my via ferrata colleagues again. Together we go over the Hinteres Tajatörl through a landscape characterized by scree fields to the Brendlsee. We do not choose the shorter descent option with the Ehrwalder Almbahn. Instead, we hike down the Immensteig to the valley station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn.
