Описание к видео Six quick steps to change polarity on Black Box OM4 LC Uniboot Patch Cables | Black Box®

Fiber polarity is a complicated thing but required to match the transmit signals (TX) of network equipment with the receiving device at the opposite end. Field engineers must carefully inspect the TX/RX requirement and adapting the AB polarity of a fiber patch cable for the needs of your IT environment is a time-consuming and expensive effort.

In our video, Steve Molek, product engineer for cables at Black Box explains common situations when fiber optic cords with reversible are needed and how quick and easy polarity can be changed on Black Box Premium OM4 LC Uniboot patch cables. With Uniboot-style jackets and Push/Pull tab connectors they also provide a neater fiber assembly with better port visibility and optimum airflow.
