Cooper pairs play a fundamental role in the transport of super current at low temperatures. This presentation explores the role that they play in the formation of the rigid Bose Einstein condensate which makes these pairs resistant to scattering through their existence in a global coherent phase. We see how the fermi sphere transforms to a sphere - concentric shell configuration below the transition temperature and how the energy for such a transformation is provided through the bonding interaction energy of the Cooper pairs.
