Pakistan has a huge number of talented students but due to lack of resources many students face difficulties to complete and achieve higher education. Now the government of Pakistan acknowledges these constraints and decides to facilitate the needy and deserving students of Pakistan through HEC Need based Scholarships. The HEC need based scholarship have been announced to facilitate the students of Hundred 100 public universities and their campuses of Pakistan. The aim of HEC need based scholarship is to know the status of students by enabling their chances to get the education and opportunities for their bright future. The objective of Hec need based is to provide scholarship and opportunities to the talented students to empower them to acquire higher education in the reputed public sector universities of Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria:
HEC need based scholarship are for those students who are in undergraduate program in any disciplines and are studding in HEC-selected Pakistani public sector universities.
Students must secure admission in the participating universities as per the admission policy of the institution and the students must be enrolled in undergraduate four year or five years.
The students who are already enrolled in participating universities and they need financial aid so they are eligible and can apply.
University financial aid office will assess the financial condition of needy students and after the complete assessed of applicant background then scholarship will be awarded to the students.
The number of scholarships will be decided by the financial aid office of universities keeping the budget of current year in view.
All discipline's students can apply the selected university can decide to include or exclude any discipline upon grant, program cost, and number of allocated scholarships.
The students who secure admission on self-finance they are ineligible for the HEC Need-Based Scholarship program.
Scholarship selection process for HEC Need-Based Scholarship:
The students who have applied for the HEC Need-Based Scholarship program their application will be reviewed by the financial aid office of institution or the institution scholarship awarded committee. The committee will be headed by the Vice Chancellor of the participating university. This step is done to ensure impartiality and transparency.
The financial aid office or selection committee will share the information regarding the recommended d students with HEC for review and information.
The list of selected students will be share after the awardees are finalized and the participating universities will forward the funds to the selected students.
How to apply for HEC Need-Based Scholarship:
The students who want to apply they should receive the scholarship application form from their universities financial aid office, or they can also download below.
Students will submit their scholarship form along with supporting documents to the university financial aid office. HEC will not accept any application form directly.
Under HEC Need-Based Scholarship funds will not be transferred directly to students by HEC. The payment will be done by the participating universities.

HEC Need-Based Scholarship will Cover Full tuition fee.
Six thousand monthly stipend.
Books and Hostel fee.
