Security Division, Sindh Police – 78th Independence Day Celebrations 🇵🇰

Under the leadership of Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, TI, QPM – DIGP Security & Emergency Services Division, the Sindh Police marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a series of events reflecting patriotism, unity, and national pride.

The day commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony at SSU Headquarters, followed by a grand Flag March that started from SSU and passed through various areas of Karachi before reaching Mazar-e-Quaid. There, IGP Sindh along with senior officers paid glowing tribute and offered a salute to the Father of the Nation.

At SSU Headquarters, a special “Mark-e-Haq Shooting Competition” was organized, in which teams of diplomats actively participated. The event was further graced by the presence of all Consul Generals, who joined the prize distribution ceremony, symbolizing international friendship and harmony.

Speaking on the occasion, DIGP Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, TI, QPM highlighted that the celebrations were not only a tribute to Pakistan’s independence but also a reaffirmation of the Sindh Police’s unwavering commitment to the safety, security, and progress of the nation.

The entire day remained a reflection of discipline, dedication, and patriotism, honoring the sacrifices of those who secured independence and renewing the pledge to safeguard Pakistan’s future.
