The Beginning of NOBAD (Behind The Line Ep.1)

Welcome to Behind The Line Vlog #1! Join The Hockey Guys as they embark on a journey to create and grow their very own brand, NOBAD!

We know it has been a while since we uploaded on this Channel and just in case anyone might be confused about why we are sharing this video, we would love to give some context!

Since we graduated and retired from playing college hockey we moved to Minneapolis to continue The Hockey Guys and to be honest we did not have a clear path on what that would look like. We started with creating a podcast The Fan Club, and mainly making content around hockey, attending NHL games and NHL Events. In working more in this space one thing that stood out to us was that there wasn't a fashionable brand in the Hockey space we felt was being made that could help connect more people to the game. For lack of better terms, there was nothing new being created in a traditional sport that tends to lag behind the new generation. We saw this as an opportunity for us to start NOBAD and make an impact in this sport.

We see NOBAD as a brand that can reach more people, last longer, and make a bigger difference than we ever could as 5 guys who make TikToks. We are the founders of NOBAD who are proud and excited about what they are building and would say this feels like a purpose we have been searching for ever since playing hockey ended for us. Yes, it's a completely different era than a channel of hockey players in College but there are a lot of similarities. We will still show our friendship, the raw moments and most importantly it is still centered around the sport that gave us this channel in the first place, HOCKEY (NOBAD vlogs will expand into more hockey).

This series will consist of behind-the-scenes of what it takes to create your own clothing brand, the highs and lows of doing everything internally, how the guy's roles have progressed in business/life, and A LOT OF FUN! The NOBAD series aims to be like our old college vlogs where we showcase what we are doing together in order to make all of the magic happen.
