The Ancient Landmarks of Wotton-Under-Edge, Gloucestershire; a Long Barrow and Some Wild Animals

I apologise for not posting for a while, I have been under the weather and lost my mojo. I am now back however, with an exciting walk in (and above) a Coombe in Gloucestershire in the parish of Wotton-Under-Edge. The countryside hereabouts is attractive and has been since at least Neolithic times. There are two long barrows on the plateau above Wotton, Bronze Age barrows, a Roman town and down next to the village a Roman Villa.
