Free Bloodworms

Bloodworms are easy live food to get. As long as you can simulate it's nature living environment then you will have them. They are not worms anyway but Red Larvae midge flies. They are no harm to human because they will not bite us like any other insect even though they have similar features to mosquitoes.

All we need to do is doing outdoor, not indoor because they need the warm of the sun, water flow and organic impurities. And what is very close to their natural simulation is filter media in our pond.

Try occasionally when cleaning a little filter media, use the container to hold the dirt when cleaned. Filter using tea strainer and see what you find later
