CROCHET AN OVAL for crochet amigurumi toy patterns!

This is a video guide on how to crochet on both sides of a foundation chain! This is a technique used in many of TheCrochetCode amigurumi patterns.

In this video I have used 12ply acrylic yarn from Bendigo Woollen Mills and a 4mm soft touch crochet hook from Clover.

This video contains an example where we will chain 6 stitches and work on both sides of the chain. This technique applies to all of TheCrochetCode patterns regardless of yarn weight and hook size. Each pattern will start with a different amount of chain stitches so make sure you follow the instructions outlined in your guide.
