CC: Recently, someone pointed out how sad the holiday cactus looked in this clip, and honestly, they were right. This little Christmas cactus was originally a kokedama. That first clip was shortly after I transferred her from a moss bowl to a pot. After a repot, plants can look a little bit sad, but it's no reason to give up on them. Since then, I've repotted this Christmas cactus again into cacti soil, and we found a few pups along the way. She clearly loved this new potting medium and started to grow with gusto. A few months passed without any blooms, so I went in for the snip. This was the motivation she needed, and shortly afterwards, she pushed out her first pink flower. She's blooming. She's growing.
