Bravo, a Cape Boerperd, enjoying a canter with Leo along the edge of Sunset Lake. Bravo is such a lovely ride. He is a bit bigger than most of the other Boerperds in our herd. Leo is over 6’ so makes Bravo look a bit smaller. The Cape Boerperd is famous for its hardiness and endurance and makes a wonderful safari horse.

It is beautifully green and lush at the moment in South Africa and Botswana due to an unexpectedly wet year.

Since I took this picture last week, this particular spot is also under water. Now great for a splashy canter!
