Forum 1 – Keynote Speech: Cities, Countries and Resilience

The theme of this year’s conference is “City”. In this conference, we will engage intellectually with Mr S. Rajaratnam’s vision for Singapore to be a truly global city. We will explore how Singapore can further actualise this vision by extending beyond the physical city to embrace new digitally-enabled financial, economic and social spaces.

In doing so, we hope to answer the question: how can Singapore continue to succeed as a global city and a city-state in the 21st century?
