Kendrick Lamar Duckworth, born on June 17, 1987, in Compton, California, is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer. Widely regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time, he has been praised for his profound lyrics and innovative approach to hip-hop.

Lamar began his music career under the pseudonym K.Dot, releasing a series of mixtapes that garnered local attention.
