For this hunt we returned to an area where we saw a bear last year. Unfortunately to get to it would have been very difficult due to mountain goat country with lots of steep cliffs. We decided to explore a new route to access a ridge line that would give us a better vantage point. The idea of having to hike in and put a little extra effort was important to us. Let’s just say the views were amazing for the effort we put in for an overnight trip.
