For today’s project, I’m creating 4 cone-style trees all from Dollar Tree products. Each would fit into different style décor so there is something for everyone. These were really simple projects that turned out beautifully and they each cost less than $3 in materials from Dollar Tree..

Materials:

For the fleece tree:
Poster board
2 white fleece towels found in hardware section
Tacky glue

For the birch tree:
Poster board
Playing cards - 2 packs
Decoart white chalk paint (Amazon)
Folkart antique gold paint (Amazon)
Waverly elephant chalk paint (Walmart)
Burlap ribbon
Jute twine

For the moss tree:
Poster board
Green floral moss
Jute twine
Red berry floral pick

For the buffalo plaid tree
Poster board
Buffalo plaid hat

Black acrylic craft paint
Burlap fabric
Evergreen sprigs - I cut from a salvaged tree but you could use dollar tree evergreen garland.
Lamb’s ear - .97 spring from Walmart cut into pieces
Eucalyptus- .97 sprig from Walmart cut into pieces
Pine cones- scavenged from yard. If you plan to use natural pine cones, bake then for 45 min at 200 degrees to kill any mites or bacteria.
