Here is a rare recording showing how Bobby goes about inventing his masterpieces. He is jamming with The Band (previously known as The Hawks) guitarist, Robbie Robertson. It was taped in a room at the Millennium Hotel (then called the North British Hotel) in Glasgow, Scotland on May 18, 1966. Dylan's chauffeur/bodyguard, Tom Keylock, recalls how at this very night, a waiter arrived at the hotel room door bringing food and suddenly screamed, "F**k him" at Dylan, accusing him of being "a f**king traitor to folk music." The waiter proceeded to pull out a knife, but was promptly disarmed by Keylock. This is a rare insight into Dylan's creative magic. Enjoy this gem while you can!
